What are our drives?
Our drives are community-driven donation projects geared at improving inpatient mental health facilities and ensuring that each patient’s stay is as comfortable as possible so that each person can focus on what’s important: healing.
Take it into perspective: Patients staying in inpatient facilities are going through intense hardship, and instead of comfort, are met with minimal supplies and a paper gown to wear.
Here’s how it works: we announce a drive, the community donates items from our what-to-donate list and we deliver everything collected to the facilities that need it. Every donation has a real impact. A stay in an inpatient facility feels very different when there’s something comforting waiting.
Where donations go
Donations primarily support Linden Oaks Hospital, an inpatient mental health facility. Anything Linden Oaks can’t accept is redirected to Hesed House, a homeless shelter so nothing collected ever goes to waste. Every single item finds someone it can help.

Why it matters
An inpatient stay can be one of the hardest stretches of a person’s life and the small things matter more than most people realize. Clean, comfortable clothes and accessible hygiene aren’t luxuries. They’re basic human needs that everyone should have, regardless of where they are.
